One dead in weekend motorcycle crash

A Metro Detroit man has died from a weekend motorcycle crash in St. Clair County. According to Lieutenant Matt Pohl of the St. Clair County Sheriff’s office, a group of motorcyclist were traveling north on Rabbidue Road around 6pm Saturday when one of the bikes lost control an fell. A 56 year old man from Southgate, who was driving the motorcycle, was killed. His 59 year old female passenger was critically injured. Pohl tells WPHM the crash caused the three bikers following them to also loose control, injuring a total of four. A 43 year old from Westland, a 31 year old from Allen Park, and a 44 from Gwinn were all taken to an area hospital for treatment. Pohl says it is likely the initial bike lost control when the road transitioned from pavement to gravel.
