The Detroit Red Wings acquired forward Brendan Perlini from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night. Perlini is 23 and has scored 45 goals in 200 NHL games over 3 seasons. He was the 12th player taken overall in the 2014 draft. Detroit gives up prospect Alec Regula, a defenseman, who was a third round pick in 2018 and is playing for London in the OHL.
