Michigan State Police begin an effort today to cut down on traffic crashes along I-94. The week long “Eyes on 94” effort also involves Illinois and Indiana police and highway
patrol. During the campaign, State Police troopers will be looking for truck drivers who are speeding, improperly passing, following too close and driving distracted. Authorities say I-94 is prone to weather-related crashes involving semi trucks this time of year. The added enforcement effort along I-94 stretches from the Indiana border all the way to the Blue Water Bridges.
