City Council to meet for final time in 2020

The Port Huron City Council meets tonight in a regular session meeting. Council members are expected to accept a bid of approximately $37,000 dollars for the purchase of new workout equipment and updates to the city’s workout room. Council is also set to renew a five-year service agreement with Ti-Hospital EMS to provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance service in the city.

Several grant applications are also scheduled to be submitted tonight. The City is seeking up to $25,000 for the purchase of ice skating equipment at McMorran Place and $50,000 to help with the design and construction of a bike trail in Sanborn park. Both grant applications will be submitted to the Ralph C. Wilson Junior Foundation. Port Huron City Council meets tonight at 7pm at the Municipal Office Center.
