Cocaine seized at Blue Water Bridge

Border officials on the other side of the Blue Water Bridge are announcing the seizure of several million dollars worth of cocaine. The Canada Border Services Agency and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police seized the drugs March 31st. A commercial truck driven by a Ontario man attempted to enter Canada at the Blue Water Bridge when he was refereed for a secondary inspection. Inside the truck was approximately 62-kg of cocaine valued at $3.5-million in Canadian currency. The 25 year old man was arrested and charged with importing a controlled substance and drug trafficking.
