The Main Street Memories car show is Saturday at a new location in Port Huron. After taking to Huron Avenue and Military Street for the past four years, the Mainstreet Memories car show will move to Desmond Landing for “Wheels on the Water” Saturday.

To kick off the show, the local Salvation Army has teamed up with Mainstreet Memories for a unique pre-show event featuring exotic cars from across the world, coffee, and doughnuts.  Local Salvation Army volunteer Gerry Mason says “Cars and Kettles” will feature new and vintage muscle cars both foreign and domestic, all to benefit the local charity. Cars and Kettles runs from 8am to 11am and will be located in front of the YMCA building.

The Mainstreet Memories show officially opens to the public at 10am and will feature a sponsor and vendor displays throughout the show, door prize drawings every 15 minutes, and a family scavenger hunt. The cost enter the show is $20 per vehicle and registration is available the morning of the show. Proceeds from “Wheels on the Water” will benefit the Council on Aging serving St. Clair County. Mainstreet Memories  will wrap up around 4pm tomorrow afternoon and is free to attend for the public.
