There’s going to be a lot of activity in Port Huron next week to honor and remember two World War II airmen who died during training exercises over Lake Huron. A new monument has been installed near the international flag plaza beneath the Blue Water Bridge and will be unveiled Saturday, August 28th. The ceremony is expect to begin at 10:30am and will feature members of Diving With a Purpose who helped to recover wreckage from the planes that crashed into the lake as well as representatives from Tuskegee, Alabama.  There are also going to be special events and exhibits held at the Port Huron Museum next week in conjunction with the memorial dedication.
