No shortage of local events this weekend

There’s plenty to do and see this weekend in the Blue Water area.

In Marysville this weekend, it’s about cars and the people who love them, as Hot Wheels weekend returns. Chris Troy is the organizer of the event and says there will be a car show an live music featuring nationally renowned performers and other car culture celebrities. Hot Wheels officially begins with a cruise tonight beginning at the Village Green Plaza at 6pm followed by a drive in screening of the movie Cars. Also happening this weekend is the St. Clair Art Fair along the board walk in St. Clair. The event runs from 10am to 6pm Saturday and 10am to 5pm Sunday. Over 100 artists ranging from painting to photography, to pottery and wood work, will be on display in Palmer Park. You can find out more at www.stclairart.org.

And it’s a sure sign that summer is coming to an end. The St. Clair County Farm Museum’s harvest days return this weekend at Goodells County Park. There will be tractor and steam engine demonstrations, live music, food, and tractor pulls. Admission is free with donations being accepted.
