School officials in Memphis have canceled classes Tuesday due to a threat. According to a statement from Memphis Community Schools, the threat was found written in the bathroom of the Memphis Junior/Senior high school building yesterday and the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office has been called in to investigate. The district says there is no evidence it is a credible threat but has decided to cancel classes today as a precaution.
