As the weather warms up, officials in Canada are reminding boaters of the rules of the water when it comes to international borders. The Canada Border Services Agency says all travelers entering Canada are required to report their arrival to them and fill out mandatory health requirements in the ArriveCan mobile application. Those who plan to enter Canadian waters for leisure or tourism are not required to report their entry to the CBSA as long as the boat does not anchor or land on Canadian soil. More information on Canada’s current border policies and the ArriveCan mobile app can be found at on the Canadian Border Services Agency website.
