Mike Aviles beat out an infield single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth to break a 2-2 tie, and help the Tigers beat the Seattle Mariners 4-2 on Tuesday night. Bruce Rondon got the win in relief, while Francisco Rodriguez earned his 20th save. The Tigers and Mariners play game three of a four game series on Wednesday night at Comerica Park.
