Marysville baseball avoided a sweep from Port Huron Northern, by beating the Huskies 11-10 in eight innings on Thursday at Northern. DJ Ledsworth had three hits and three RBI for the Vikings, including the go ahead RBI-single in the top of the 8th. Trevor Shoudy added three hits and two RBI for Marysville, while Branden Moran picked up a double and two RBI in the win. The Huskies were led by Bryce Reeves who had three hits and three RBI, and Brady Chicone, who added three hits with an RBI. Nolan Sciotti drove in a two runs for Northern with a double. The Huskies had beat the Vikings in the first two games of the series earlier in the week, 7-6 and 5-2.
