Multiple crews respond to Port Huron fire

Fire crews from multiple departments responded to a multi-family home fire in Port Huron Wednesday. It happened around 3am in the second story of a house in the 1000 block of Howard Street. Speaking with WPHM, Port Huron Fire Battalion Chief Hayes said the main body of the fire was brought under control in under ten minutes and all residents made it out safely. He added that no injuries have been reported. Fire-fighting assistance came form Marysville, Port Huron Township, and Fort Gratiot Fire Departments. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
