Matt Boyd tossed seven shutout innings, allowing just two hits, and two walks, as the Detroit Tigers beat the Texas Rangers 2-0 on Saturday to snap a five game losing streak. Casey McGehee had four hits and knocked in a run to pace the Detroit attack. The Tigers face the Rangers in the series finale on Sunday in Texas.
