The Kansas City Royals scored three runs in the first inning and cruised to a 4-0 win over the Detroit Tigers on Monday night. Johnny Cueto tossed a complete game four hitter with eight strikeouts to shut down the Tigers. Game two of a three game series is set for Tuesday night.
