March 8th is the date set for a millage question in the city of St. Clair. City Council set the date this week in an effort to get a renewal of the city's 20 year old road millage, which expires in November of next year. Voters said No last month to a plan that would have combined the renewal to an increase. This time around the asking is just for the renewal. It would mark the third time the 10-year asking has been renewed if given a green light by the electorate. In other business this week the St. Clair City Council set next Tuesday as the date for a special closed door meeting. The strategy session deals with negotiations of a Collective Bargaining Agreement with a Police Officers union.
