Michigan motorists are finding the price at the pump to be more than agreeable. As gas prices in Michigan have been below $2 a gallon for sometime and currently has some of the lowest state-wide averages for a gallon of gasoline. Although, Susan Hiltz with AAA Michigan says gas prices may be heading back up above $2 in February, as refineries perform scheduled maintenance. Hiltz also notes people resolving to lose weight and exercise for the new year are great goals, but AAA Michigan is urging drivers to commit to some important road resolutions, that can help impact traffic safety across our state. They advise motorists to buckle up, drive safe and sober and to avoid distractions; such as cell phone use and texting.
