Break-ups can be pretty savage. Friends take sides, emotions run high, the kiddie gloves come off, etc. But that’s apparently no excuse for bad grammar!

This is the Grammar Hero the internet needs right now.
Meet Nick Lutz, a 20-year-old University of Central Florida student. He started dating his now ex-girlfriend in February of last year. The relationship came to an end after eight months. Lutz grew increasingly suspicious when she was hiding her phone and started using “code names for guys in her contacts list.” Sketch City for sure, Nick. You made the right call!
Her last ditch effort to get him back was by penning a four-page apology letter, but Nick wasn’t having any of it. Instead, he graded her letter like a boss, and shared the entire thing on Twitter.

C’mon, who doesn’t use indentations?
Nick points out numerous mistakes in her apology letter, including “lackadaisical” handwriting, using “useless fillers” to make her work longer than it needed to be, and telling her to “stop contradicting your own story and pick a side.” Her final grade? A 61/100. The D- letter currently has over 100k shares and over 300k likes on Twitter.

No word on if she wrote a revision for half credit.
The icing on this delicious revenge cake best served cold? Blasting his ex on social media may have landed him his NEXT girlfriend!

She’s the Mrs. Robinson to his Dustin Hoffman. And she’s old enough to get that reference!
Even though it’s only February, I’m calling this the Break-up of the Year. Take a bow, Nick!
