Coronavirus causes three Port Huron schools to close

Classes have been called off for at least two weeks for students at Port Huron Northern, Fort Gratiot Middle, and Keewahdin Elementary Schools. This comes after the Port Huron Area School District and St. Clair County Health Department confirmed cases of COVID-19 at each of the buildings. Students who were attending in person classes at the three buildings are now to do all of their learning online for at least the next 14 days. Building principals will all students to return to the schools this week at designated times to gather supplies from the building. Food service will also continue at Port Huron Northern High School with the first weekly meal pickup taking place Tuesday afternoon. All other buildings in the Port Huron Area School District will remain open for classes at this time.
