Grant program to benefit Port Huron small businesses

Calling all businesses in the City of Port Huron who lost revenue due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County is offering 15 small businesses the chance to claim their share of$75,000 in federal grants. Dan Casey of the EDA says there are some stipulations, namely, that the business must be located physically within the City of Port Huron and that  must be able to demonstrate a 20% loss in revenue this year. Applicants will be judged based on a point system and grants will total $5,000 each. The link to apply can be found at edascc.com. Applications are now being accepted and the deadline to submit is Friday October 2nd.
