Port Huron officials are seeking to extend the city’s social district policy. Cynthia Cutright, Port Huron Downtown Development Authority Director, says the city is asking for permission to expand the policy that allows for to-go alcoholic beverages past the October 31st deadline. “We feel that this has been so successful, it’s great for our businesses downtown, and we want to extend that year round,” said Cutright. A great opportunity to experience Port Huron’s social district is this evening during the fall version of Art Hop. Local artists were located at various locations throughout the city between 6 and 9pm.
