Another candidate for Port Huron City Council has dropped out of the race. Chris Troy, who was hoping to earn a spot on council, says he will be ending his campaign. Troy cites medical issues as well as the sale of his home in Port Huron as reason why. Troy is the third of seven candidates to withdraw from the race. Incumbent councilman Scott Worden says he had decided not to seek another term and candidate Terri Lamb has also backed out of the election, with four candidates remaining.
