Bulk leaf pickup begins today in the City of Port Huron. According to the Department of Public Works, leaf removal can occur any time this week in zone one, which includes all streets south of the Black River. Pickup will then shift north to Zone two next week, which includes all homes north of the Black River. Removal will alternate every other week through the end of November. Yard waste will continue to be picked up as well on your normal trash day through December 18th. Yard waste other than leaves must be put in a container marked with “X” or a paper yard waste bag.
