With all precincts reporting in the City of Port Huron, Mayor Pauline Repp has been re-elected for another term. Repp fended off challenges from D.J. Palm and Nicholas LaBonte, earning about twice as many votes than either two challengers combined.

Democrat Lisa Beedon edged out Republican Zachary Smith to earn her a spot on the St. Clair County Board of Commission.

Port Huron City Council candidates Sherri Archibald, Robert Mosurak, and Teri Lamb were the top three vote getters for three available spots on Port Huron City Council. With Lamb withdrawing from the race prior to the election, and current councilwoman Lisa Beedon being elected to the county commission, it’s likely that the other two remaining candidates in the race for council will earn a spot as well. They include Anthony Lindsay and Tyler Moldovan.

A recreational marijuana ballot proposal passed overwhelming by city voters, which would replace a more restrictive ordinance passed by council last month.
