A Caro woman was injured in a rollover crash Tuesday morning on M-53 near Marlette. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s office, the woman was traveling northbound on Van Dyke Road when she stated that she reached for something in her purse causing her to swerve towards the east side ditch. The 29 year old then over-corrected causing her vehicle to overturn. Investigators say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash however the woman was not wearing a seat belt. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
