A section of M-136 will be closed due to bridge repairs this weekend. According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, the M-136 bridge over the Black River will close starting Friday through Monday. The work is to allow for the completion of a $1.3 million bridge improvement project. Traffic on M-136 through the Beards Hills area will be detoured via Fargo, Norman, and Wildcat Roads. A temporary traffic signal will remain on the bridge following this weekends closure.
