Teen dies following skateboarding crash

A 19 year old Port Huron man who was seriously injured in a skateboarding crash late last week has died of his injuries. The Port Huron Police Department say the victim holding onto a vehicle while skateboarding in the 2700 block of 24th Street Thursday shortly before midnight. He was taken to a local hospital and transferred to a Metro Detroit hospital for treatment of several facial and skull fractures. Police have not released the name of the victim but are expressing condolences to his family.
