Three finalists have been selected in the search for the next superintendent of the Marysville Public School District. School board members are announcing that Ashley McCann-Markham of Peck Community Schools, Stephen Doerr formerly of the Jackson Community School District, and Karrie Smith – Marysville’s current executive director of Special Education – will move to the next round of interviews. School board members are inviting the public to attend the next round of interviews, which will resume on Thursday the 17th at 7pm at the Marysville High School’s media center. The current acting superintendent of the district is Andrea Glynn, who was named to that position following Dr. Shawn Wightman’s departure from the district earlier this summer.
