More information is being released about last week’s fatal moped crash that happened at the intersection of 10th Avenue and McPherson Street in Port Huron. Police are reporting, 27-year-old Jacob Woolley of Port Huron passed away Monday, following days of treatment at a Macomb County hospital. Woolley was struck by another vehicle while riding the moped around 6:30 Thursday morning. Tri-Hospital EMS initially took him to a Port Huron area hospital but his injuries required further treatment at a Metro Detroit facility. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation but Port Huron Police say the driver of the other vehicle is fully cooperating with authorities. Visitation and memorial services are being organized by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
