A 41-year-old Marine City man was found dead on a busy Fort Gratiot road over the weekend due to an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Just after 2:30 yesterday morning, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the area of Keewahdin and Campbell roads after a passer-by reported the man lying on the side of the road. Detectives closed the roadway for several hours for investigation and at this time authorities do not suspect foul play or believe there is any threat to the public. The man’s name is being withheld until his family can be properly notified.
