A man wanted for a January murder will stand trial in Port Huron. Dazman Robert Drake is facing multiple charges related to the death of Vinny Buckles on January 28th. The suspect was taken into custody in Georgia in February, and has since been extradited to Michigan, where he was arraigned Monday on charges including Open Murder, Felony Firearms, Fourth Degree Arson, Concealing a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and more. He also has an outstanding felony warrant for a double homicide in Detroit back in 2023. A probable cause hearing has been set for April 22nd and a pre-exam April 29th in St. Clair County District Court.
