Port Huron Police are investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl.
It happened Monday night just after 10:00 p.m. in the 2800 block of Electric Avenue. According to investigators, the teen was riding an electric bike against the flow of traffic when she was struck by a car.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Police say the driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement. The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any additional information is urged to contact the Port Huron Police department at 810-984-8415.
