A longtime local friendly rivalry returns to the ice this weekend.
The Port Huron Police Department will face off against the Port Huron Fire Department in the annual Battle of the Badges charity hockey game Friday, February 27th at McMorran Place Arena.
Proceeds from the event benefit The Arc of St. Clair County, with raffle proceeds supporting The Harbor and Wings of the Harbor. Organizers will also hold a special raffle for an officially signed jersey from gold medal Olympian, and Detroit Red Wing Captain Dylan Larkin. Attendees can also enter a Chuck-a-puck contest and other prize giveaways.
Doors open Friday night at 6pm for a 7 o’clock puck drop.
Tickets are available at the door for $12 or online at the McMorran website, and kids 3 and under get in for free.
