Are you interested in purchasing Russell Crowe’s leather jock strap for the price of $7k? If the answer is yes, we are sorry to tell you it already sold at his ‘Art of Divorce’ auction.

Crowe and now ex-wife Daniele Spencer were married for nine years before throwing in the towel in 2012 (a towel that would later be sold.)
In spirited fashion, the actor decided to shed himself of momentos from his former marriage in an auction with the Sotheby’s Australia auction house. It was hosted this past Saturday which was both his birthday and his wedding anniversary. Up for grabs were an unusual array of items, ranging from movie items to ice skates.
Most of the items had little descriptions by them giving some insight to Crowe’s personal life. A note by a Mercedes read, “”One of Russell Crowe’s personal cars, this vehicle also served as one of the wedding cars on the day of his marriage to Danielle Spencer on 7 April 2003.”
The moment we lost @russellcrowe‘s Gladiator chariot… it went for a MASSIVE $65,000! ???????????? pic.twitter.com/FxaumXRmAp

Movie paraphernalia was the highlight for many. Pieces of clothing and other souvenirs featured in films like, “Gladiator,” “Cinderella Man,” “3:10 Yuma,” and more. Really the auction doubled as a Russell Crowe garage sale because he was also auctioning things that had no meaning to his marriage or acting career. Things like motorcycles, watches, sports gear and art he no longer wished to own.
In the end, there were a couple items he just couldn’t part with.
The Art of Divorce
In case anyone is interested … $3.7m at the coal face and around $350k of conversations ongoing … and a bunch of stuff I didn’t really want to sell coming home … not a bad hourly rate for a 5 hour shift . Hope you are happy and busy

Raking in around $3.7 million dollars by the end of the night he not only got rid of reminders of his marriage to Spencer, but also got to keep some items he decided he wanted to hold on to. No seller’s remorse from this guy!
