Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wife Hilarie Burton are one bada** couple and here’s why.
The couple is typically very private about their lives outside of acting. In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Morgan opened up a little bit about he birth of their two kids.
“I delivered the children,” he told Stern. That’s right! He delivered BOTH of their children. First born, Augustus, now 8 years-old and newly born George Virginia. To ensure their safety, the couple did have a midwife and delivered in a hospital.
George Virginia Morgan came into the world February 18th of this year. When it came to delivering his daughter, he was ready this time. It was “Perfect,” Morgan said. “I grabbed her a little by the cheeks and pulled her out.”
He didn’t just reveal that he delivered his two babies with his longtime love, but that the road to baby #2 wasn’t an easy one. For 8 years they tried to conceive after their first born. “We tried for, since Gus was born, to have another and hit a rough go trying to…lost a couple. It was an emotional ride.”
He concluded with saying his delivery days are behind him. “We’re tapping out,” he said. Morgan is planning on getting a vasectomy. He and Burton are extremely happy with their two healthy children.”I’m 52…Two is perfect—a boy and a girl.”
