A Port Huron man has died after a crash Tuesday night in St. Clair County’s Kimball Township. St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the accident in the 5700 block of Lapeer Road around 7:45pm Tuesday. Upon arrival, a vehicle was found crashed into a tree and fully engulfed in flames. The lone occupant of the vehicle, identified as a 65 year old man from Port Huron, was pronounced dead. Further investigations lead deputies to believe he was eastbound on Lapeer Road near Abbotsford road when he left the roadway, striking the tree. The indecent remains under investigation and the cause is unknown at the time.
