Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner use social media to defend their new in-law, Priyanka, when an article accuses her of being a scam artist.

The article, “Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s Love for Real?” was published on New York Magazine’s The Cut.
“At times, marriage can be a beautifully wonderful union that warms even the coldest of hearts, but sadly, this union evokes no such feeling,” it read. The critical article went on to say that the Bollywood Star doesn’t have love with Nick Jonas. “All Nick wanted was a possible fling with Hollywood’s latest It Woman, but instead he wound up staring straight at a life sentence with a global scam artist.”
The original article said, “”Nick, if you’re reading this, find that horse and gallop away as fast you can!” as a final note.
Onc this circulated around to Jonas and Turner, they immediately relaitated.
This is disgusting. @TheCut should be ashamed to have someone write such evil words. What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love. Thank u, Next. https://t.co/G3hvXmhm9O

“What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love. Thank u, Next,” he tweeted.
Turner hopped on Twitter and fired back, “This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting. Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bulls–t.”
After, the article was edited slightly. It removed the conclusion where the writer tells Nick Jonas to run as fast as he can, and the sentence where they call Priyanka a “global scam artist.” Even after editing, the article ended up being removed entirely. A note was left on the original webpage that read, “Upon further editorial review, we found this story did not meet our standards. We’ve removed it and apologize.”
