The Playboy Mansion, the backdrop of some of the wildest parties ever thrown in L.A. is for sale. The 6 acre Holmby Hills estate, built in 1927, will be listed sometime within the next month. Real estate sources say Playboy Enterprises is looking to get somewhere north of $200 million for the mansion even though experts say the real value is in the land itself (worth around $60 million) and that the company is depending too much of Playboy history for the rest of the worth and that the house itself is a tear-down. Several strings attached to the purchase, though. Whoever buys the property will be required to give Hugh Hefner a life estate, meaning he can continue to live in the mansion until he dies. As for another condition: prospective buyers can tour the property but one area is off limits–Hef’s bedroom.
Nina Dobrev’s 27th birthday party was full of poop and eggplants. The former Vampire Diaries actress celebrated her birthday on Saturday at an emoji costume party with her boyfriend Austin Stowell and several friends. Dobrev dressed up as the heart eyed cat emoji with gold face paint and cat ears, her boyfriend was a panda emoji and buddy Nick Jonas was a 100 symbol. The actress briefly pole-danced and blew out her candles while wearing a cardboard cutout adorned with “frequently used” emojis like eggplants, poop and laughing crying faces on them. Several party goers posted pics on Instagram saying how great of a birthday it was. Nina was very happy so many of her close friends came and that the party was a success.
Katy Perry was also spotted with Orlando Bloom at several after parties for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards. The two spent a lot of time talking together in the VIP section of the Weinstein and Netflix parties. The two did little to hide their hang out and even danced around to Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body” together while Perry mouthed the lyrics. In between their dance breaks and moments spent looking at the Grammy winner’s phone, the two shared a vape pen at the swanky event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Then the duo made their way into the Fox after party shortly thereafter and continued to mingle with guests, Golden Globe nominees and fellow famous pals. Could this be Hollywood’s latest couple?
