Dancing With The Stars judge Julianne Hough has announced her engagement to her NHL hockey player boyfriend, Brooks Laich. She shared the news on Instagram yesterday, posting a photo of herself in his arms and holding out her left hand so everyone can see the ring on her finger with the message, “We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement,” Hough and Laich, who plays for the Washington Capitals, met through a mutual friend, actor Teddy Sears, in 2013 and began dating in December of that year. Julianne previously dated “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest for three years.

Mike Epps is in some serious direct message trouble. According to Us Weekly, the comedian was doing a little flirting on social media… with a woman named CiCi who was definitely not his wife. All was going well, until his actual wife jumped on board and commented on that same bit of social media extramarital flirting. She tweeted the both of them a pair of googly eyes. All the offending tweets have been deleted since the hilariously public incident, but the New York Daily News was able to grab a screencap of them before Epps deleted all his Internet flirt evidence. Epps also blocked this Ceci character pretty soon after the tweets went down.

Comedian Norm MacDonald is taking over as the face of Colonel Harland Sanders for fried chicken giant KFC after fellow “Saturday Night Live” alum Darrell Hammond had fronted the brand for just a few months. The chicken may be “finger-lickin’ good,” but the ads haven’t been, and Hammond’s portrayal was met with a lukewarm reception from viewers. According to Food Business News, one in five people “hate” the ads that featured Hammond, and now the company has decided not to wait any longer, having found a new Colonel. Four new TV spots featuring MacDonald, including a couple calling Hammond’s Colonel an “impostor,” have been filmed.
