Katy Perry somehow avoided a wardrobe malfunction Tuesday night at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, where she and Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott were honored with a hand print ceremony before the premiere of “Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer.” Katy looked smashing, as usual, wearing a very low cut black dress and revealing lots of cleavage. She nearly exposed herself as she got down on her knees and leaned forward to place her hands in the tray of wet cement. Fortunately, this went better than her Segway snafu at the recent Burning Man festival.
Hours after the musical group Survivor chastised Mike Huckabee for an unauthorized use of the band’s “Eye of the Tiger” at a campaign rally, R.E.M. issued a public rebuke against Donald Trump and other politicians who use their music without permission. They tweeted, “Go screw yourselves, the lot of you sad, attention-grabbing, power-hungry little men. Do not use our music or my voice for your moronic charade of a campaign.” However, later on, they did add, “The media and the American voter should focus on the bigger picture, and not allow grandstanding politicians to distract us from the pressing issues of the day and of the current Presidential campaign.”
Actress Alyssa Milano has gotten both support and backlash for posting pictures of herself breastfeeding her 1-year-old daughter Elizabella, but that won’t let the haters stop her! She said, “I don’t care. I’m going to keep breastfeeding, maybe even until Elizabella is 6!” Milano also noted the crazy difference between how people react to her pictures versus Miley Cyrus showing her nipple on camera at the MTV Video Music Awards, adding, “Everyone’s fine with her nipples being out. I think people are more comfortable sexualizing breasts than relating them to what they were made for, which is feeding another human.”
