Disney is developing a new live action “Mary Poppins” movie. The new story will be set around 20 years after the tale of the classic 1964 movie. It will also take its cues from the book series that P.L. Travers wrote.  Rob Marshall, who directed “Into the Woods” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” for the studio, will helm the new feature, which will also be a musical. Songwriting team Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who worked on “Hairspray” and “Smash,” will compose new original songs as well a new score. So far the public reaction hasn’t been well, with social media exploding over the news.

A former Colorado radio DJ, fired after a 2013 meet-and-greet with Taylor Swift led to accusations from the singer that he had grabbed her bottom, is suing her. David Mueller filed a lawsuit in federal court claiming the accusations are not true. The incident occurred in June 2013, when Mueller attended a meet-and-greet with Swift for work. Mueller joined Swift for a photo, after which Swift allegedly complained to her security team that Mueller had lifted her skirt and grabbed her bottom. Mueller was immediately removed by Swift’s security personnel and, afterwards, was fired. Mueller is seeking to recuperate his income. In 2013, he was making $150,000 a year.

Chrissy Teigen may be a beautiful Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, but she’s not taking any chances with bringing attractive female employees around her husband John Legend. During a fashion show in New York last week, she said, “No hot nannies, drivers, or maids. It’s an ongoing joke in my house. I do want to have kids one day, so it’s something that I have to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men. It doesn’t really matter what you look like. Sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do.” Legend and Teigen married in Lake Como, Italy, after a two-year engagement.
