An insider says Lambert kept Shelton’s behavior from spinning out of control: “She kept Blake grounded. She was his voice of reason. But now that he’s single, he’s free-falling to a very bad place. His alcohol consumption has skyrocketed.” Friends are reportedly trying to get him sober. Another source says, “They want him to take some time out and spend it in rehab, but Blake insists throwing himself into the new season of ‘The Voice’ is the best distraction and all he needs.”
Is Julie Roberts headed for divorce? She and her husband, Danny Moder, might be preparing to go their separate ways. According to sources, hours after Roberts made an appearance at Givenchy’s runway show during New York Fashion Week, moving trucks showed up at her home in California. A source says, “The marriage is on the rocks. There are a lot of issues with money. Julia said she doled out millions of dollars in mortgage payments for Moder’s father. She helped him out for at least five years, and she got tired of footing the bill.”
The View co-hosts Joy Behar and Michelle Collins have addressed the controversy that erupted Monday when their comments regarding Kelley Johnson’s Miss America monologue about being a nurse went viral. Behar and Collins later mocked her for wearing it, and a backlash erupted on social media. During yesterday’s show, they said, “We love nurses. We adore you. We respect you. You guys are wonderful. You’re the most compassionate people. I was not talking about nurses, we were talking about the talent competition, and it got misconstrued.” Behar even admitted she was just not paying attention, and thought Johnson might have just been in costume.
