Kanye West will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the show’s highest honor this Sunday at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. In a statement, MTV saidt, “Throughout his career, West has blended musical and visual artistry to powerful effect. From his trilogy of videos for Jesus Walks, to the mind-bending animation of Heartless, to the arresting imagery of Bound 2, he’s pushed boundaries and delivered something new with every successive video.” West joins the likes of past winners like Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, Britney Spears, and Justin Timberlake.

 
Howie Mandel had to apologize for all bulimia sufferers who might’ve been offended when he joked about the eating disorde on America’s Got Talent. The joke in question came after witnessing the talents of Stevie Starr, who calls himself a professional regurgitator. His act involves swallowing weird items, then barfing them back up again. Mandel said, “You, sir, make bulimia entertaining.” And though Mandel noted that his bulimia crack would probably come out wrong, that didn’t stop social media from flying into a tizzy with a billion angry tweets. So a few minutes later, Mandel issued an on-air apology.

 
Taylor Swift told boyfriend Calvin Harris ‘I Love You’ on stage at the Staples Center last night! Swift has been rocking the California arena for several days, ushering in some high profile guests to ever grace her stage. But it was a personal exchange that had fans talking. Some loyal fans couldn’t help but notice Calvin Harris at the end of the runway supporting T-Swift from the audience. While taking her bows to the sold-out crowd and before departing the stage, Swift said those three magic words to her man, “I love you.” It was posted to Tumblr and in a confirmation of the event that occurred, Swift herself liked the video!
