The iconic blue-and-white checked dress worn by Judy Garland in ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ was sold at Bonham’s Auction House for $1.5 million. The gingham dress was described as having sweat stains around the neck but in good condition before it was purchased by a mystery buyer. The dress was one of the top items in the Bonham’s and Turner Classic Movies Hollywood memorabilia auction sold in New York on Monday. It is believed to be one of 10 dresses made for Garland’s character Dorothy in the classic 1939 movie. Last year, the “Cowardly Lion” costume worn by Bert Lahr in the movie sold for $3 million.

 
Taylor Swift is rumored to be unhappy that her BFF, Gigi Hadid, is dating Zayn Malik. She might have reason to feel a twinge of angst over her friend seeing the former One Direction band member when you consider the fact her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, had an ongoing feud via Twitter with him over the summer. Sources report that Malik were photographed together on Nov. 22 following Justin Bieber’s after-party on the night of the AMAs. As the LA Times reports, there have been two sightings of the pair. Prior to Hadid dating Malik, the young model was with Joe Jonas. They split up recently, with a source saying that both of their schedules were to blame.

 
Johnny Depp’s “Mortdecai” and Kristen Stewart’s “American Ultra” were among 2015’s biggest film flops, according to Forbes magazine. The worst film of the year was Bill Murray’s comedy “Rock The Kasbah,” which cost $15 million to make and only earned $2.9 million. Depp’s comedy made just $47.3 million internationally but landed in tenth place because it cost $60 million to produce. “American Ultra” made $15.4 million on a $28 million budget. Other films that disappointed include “Unfinished Business,” “Jem and the Holograms,” “Self/Less,” “We Are Your Friends,” “Aloha” and “Pan.”
