Criss Angel’s trying to pull off something more impressive than any of his tricks — he’s on a $1 million mission, inspired by his toddler’s battle with cancer. Angel is using his fame to bring national attention to the horrors of fighting pediatric cancer. His 21-month-old son Johnny was diagnosed in October, and will be in treatment for at least the next several years. Criss is making a documentary called “1095” … the number of days Johnny will undergo chemo. He’s currently footing the bill for the whole thing and wants to raise $1 million. No date yet for the fundraiser, but Criss vows 100% of the proceeds will go to pediatric cancer research.
Lloyd’s of London filed a lawsuit against Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger, saying he failed to disclose a preexisting condition in his throat. Nickelback canceled more than 60 concerts over the summer during their international tour because Kroeger had a cyst on his vocal chords that kept him from performing. Kroeger got surgery to remove the cyst in July, and filed a $13 million claim with the band’s insurance company to cover losses for canceled concerts. But according to docs, the insurance company says he had the condition before Nickelback got its Lloyd’s of London policy … and Chad never told them about it. Lloyd’s is suing to cancel the policy.

 

On Wednesday, Madonna and her 10 year old son, David, took the streets of Paris for a surprise performance to honor the victims of the November 13th terrorist attacks They delivered an impromptu performance which included a cover of John Lennon’s, “Imagine” and some songs off of her new album “rebel Heart.” They were accompanied by many passerby who sang along. Madonna was seen wiping tears away and hugging her song during the performance.
