There’s more to Sia’s wig than just style. The “Chandelier” songstress is as famous for her identity-concealing wig as she is for her musical pipes. However, while it has shaped her signature look, the platinum bob has also become a personal barricade to help calm her crippling stage fright. In fact, the Australian native was so nervous for her scheduled performance on Good Morning America Friday that she said she got emotional before it was time to hit the stage. “I just cried in the dressing room. I’m really croaky and I was like ‘I’m not going to hit the high note and I want everyone to like me.’ she admitted It’s scary to perform!” The chart-topping performer may appear cool, calm and collected with a mic in her hand, but in reality she’s actually quite afraid of her profession. “I do not love performing,” she said during GMA. “I get really scared.” Fortunately, Sia is in successful company. She’s just one of many award-winning musicians who have admitted to major pre-show jitters. Two Grammys later and Lorde still gets queasy before a show, Adele admits to the occasional anxiety attack, and even the legendary Barbra Streisand prefers dark venues so she can’t see the audience.
After months of horrible zombie-drama anticipation, fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead were treated to a veritable buffet of amazing reveals at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel event on Friday include a new incredible season 7 trailer and an official air date for the premiere . But the cast also revealed some other interesting tidbits: like how Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus are in a perpetual prank war. It sounds like Reedus is winning after brilliant idea to put glitter in the air-conditioning vents in Andrew’s car earning him the nickname Sparkles. Also, Sonequa Martin Green and Michael Cudlitz are apparently breast friends! While Sasha and Abraham are exploring a romance on the show, in real life Cudlitz’s already gotten up close and personal with Green after she needed some help pumping breast milk on set. And in case you were worried that the zombie slaughter would slow down amid all the Negan drama … um, don’t. According to folks in the know, at least 61 walkers will be killed in the second episode of season 7 alone. AMC’s The Walking Dead officially returns Sunday Oct. 23rd at 9pm.
How could anyone say no to this surprise duo? As Meghan Trainor continued her Untouchable Tour Friday night in Los Angeles, the “Me Too” singer decided to bring out a very special guest. Just a few short days after participating in a little Carpool Karaoke with First Lady Michelle Obama, late-night host James Corden decided to grab the mic inside the Greek Theater for a duet of “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.” The singer took to Twitter after the show saying, “.@JKCorden you are an absolute legend. Thank you SO MUCH for singing with me last night at the @Greek_Theatre. I’ll never forget it.”As for James, he appeared to have more than a little fun as he shared a big hug with his singing partner before heading backstage to enjoy the rest of the show.
