Got Milk? Then You Could Have Some Cash Coming Your Way!

We all know milk is good for your bones, but if you purchased milk or dairy products in Michigan in the past 14 years it could be good for your wallet as well!

Our lovely Mitten State is one of fifteen named in a class action lawsuit suit which was filed against milk producers. The $52 million settlement comes after accusations spearheaded by the animal rights group Compassion Over Killing that companies sla
ughtered more than 500,000 cows to reduce the milk supply. This imgreswould allow milk producers to raise prices and make extra money in the wake of increased demand for their product. While the allegations have been denied, you can still file a claim for some cash.


urlResidents in Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin who file the claim may receive between $10 and $20. However, schools or businesses who purchased milk or dairy products between 2003 and 2010 could receive up to $560.And you don’t even need receipts to be reimbursed!

Claims must be filed by January 31, 2017.
