Some people out there like to take the guesswork out of their vacations.
Yeah. This isn’t for them.
Pack Up + Go is a travel agency that blew up last year for it’s unique approach at booking three-day weekend trips–as in you go on a vacation without knowing where you’re going!
You head to the website and simply answer a few easy questions about dates, travel preferences, budget, and hobbies. You can also tell Pack Up + Go where you’ve recently been or plan to go so they DON’T send you there. A week before you leave, an email arrives containing the weather forecast for your mystery destination, suggested packing, and any luggage size restrictions.
You’ll also get an envelope in the mail revealing your destination, directions to your accommodation, and a few sample itineraries contoured specific to the interests to mentioned in the survey. But you’re urged not to open it until you leave! Otherwise, why try to go to a surprise destination in the first place?
As of now, Pack Up + Go will only send you to cities within the continental. U.S. (No need to worry about an unexpected language barrier!). Vacations with flights are about $450, with road trips planned for $350. The bill covers travel and lodging, but not food, entertainment, and other items on your list of recommended activities. So keep that in mind when budgeting.
While Pack Up + Go could send people to bigger cities, anywhere in a landlocked state with a happening scene could be a location. It’s even possible for travelers to get a trip planned for here in the Blue Water Area!
