Alex Avila (3 RBI), Miguel Cabrera (2 RBI), and JD Martinez hit consecutive home runs in the bottom of the first inning on Saturday night, as the Detroit Tigers exploded for a 9-3 win over the Texas Rangers. Nicholas Castellanos added a three run home run in the win for Detroit. The lose ended a ten game win streak for the Rangers. The series finale is set for Sunday night at Comerica Park.
