The Detroit Tigers will part company with manager Brad Ausmus after this season. The news came down from club GM Al Aliva before a Friday night game against the Minnesota Twins. Ausmus’ contract runs out at the end of the year and the team will no renew, and instead move in a different direction. The Tigers have a losing record over the four seasons that Ausmus has been manager, though they did have two winning seasons and one playoff appearance.
